How It Works.

How it works

No referral or diagnosis is necessary. We take enquiries from social workers, support workers, schools and relatives.

After contacting the farm, an initial visit can be organised, to have a walk around the farm and discuss booking further visits.

  •  Activities can involve people of all ages and abilities working together.
  • At the farm there  could be a 70 year living with dementia alongside  an Autistic 20 year old  and a 12 year old attending for alternative provision from a mainstream school.
  • All these may enjoy interacting with animals or another activity together.

  • People can attend for just two hours or up to six a day and can come as many days as they wish.
  • Some may need to come with their own carer. Parents can come with their children and accompany them or stay in the day room while their children are on the farm.
  • Lunch is not provided. There are hot and cold drinks on offer.
  • Charges depend on what support a visitor requires and if there is a group booking.  However, the average cost is £18 per hour.We take
